Open-Generative-AI
Open-source front end for running many image, video and voice models.
A single studio for producing client visuals.
The repo's homepage points to a paid API (muapi.ai), so 'no API bills' on the slide may not hold for every model.
MIT (LICENSE: 'MIT License, Copyright (c) 2026 Open Generative AI Contributors').
Yes for the app code (MIT), but the app is a front end for the maintainer's paid MuAPI gateway (API key required for cloud models), and every model behind it (Flux, Kling, Sora, Veo, Midjourney etc.) has its own licence/terms that the MIT licence does not cover.
Active (pushed 2026-10-07). Marketed as 'Unrestricted ... No content filters': legal/ToS risk for a client deployment (unfiltered image/video generation, likeness/deepfake and upstream model-provider terms). The '600+ models' in the repo description vs '400+' in the README vs '250+' in the MuAPI docs do not agree. Local inference is desktop-app only: sd.cpp for images (runs on Apple Silicon Metal/CPU), video needs a user-installed Wan2GP on a CUDA/ROCm GPU (README: Wan 2.1 1.3B about 8 GB VRAM); otherwise all generation is paid MuAPI calls. The repo is effectively a marketing funnel for MuAPI.
Creators

Yes: MuAPI (muapi.ai). White Label platform plans (docs): Starter $49/mo (up to 100 end users, Image + Video studios); Growth $149/mo (up to 1,000 end users, all studios); Scale $499/mo (unlimited end users, all studios), billed separately from API usage. API is pay per generation, e.g. flux-schnell $0.003 per generation, kling-v3.0-pro-text-to-video $0.72, seedance-2-text-to-video $0.25 per second. README calls the hosted version free; the hosted page itself did not state free or paid.
Subscription AI image/video platforms; the README names Midjourney, Runway, Kling AI, Luma Dream Machine and Pika only with approximate ranges and tells readers to check current prices. Those pricing pages were not checked, so no price is given.
