LTX-Video

Fast, lightweight open video model.

Used through Wan2GP.

A model, not a service.

Code: Apache-2.0 (LICENSE file). Model weights are NOT Apache: 'LTXV Open Weights License 0.X' (dated April 15, 2025, applies to v0.9.6 and later); older 2B checkpoints (0.9 to 0.9.5) carry their own licence files (README calls 0.9.5 'OpenRail-M'). Hugging Face lists the model licence as 'other'.

Yes for a freelancer or small client: the weights licence grants use 'for any purpose' including hosting as a service, but entities with annual revenues of at least $10,000,000 must buy a commercial licence from Lightricks (unlicensed use triggers fees plus liquidated damages of double the fee), and Attachment A use restrictions (e.g. no impersonation/deepfakes without consent, must disclose machine-generated content) must be passed on to end users.

Superseded: README says 'LTX-2 is now the primary home for LTX development' (github.com/Lightricks/LTX-2); this repo's last push was 2026-01-05 and the vendor site now promotes LTX-2.5. Not archived. Needs an NVIDIA GPU: no official minimum VRAM in the README or model card (only relative notes: 13B 'requires more VRAM', 2B for 'light VRAM usage'); a community variant cited in the README claims 720x480x121 in under a minute on an RTX 4060 (8GB VRAM). The $10M threshold is total company revenue per the vendor's licensing FAQ.
