End of life: the repository was archived in August 2026.
END OF LIFE. The maintainer froze the code in July 2026 and archived the repository in August 2026. Do not start a client project on it. Langflow is the active alternative.
Apache-2.0 for everything except packages/server/src/enterprise and files with explicit copyright notice (e.g. IdentityManager.ts), which are under FlowiseAI's Commercial License. Mixed licence is why the API says NOASSERTION.
Yes for the Apache-2.0 part: a freelancer can install/host it for a paying client and charge; the enterprise directory (SSO, workspaces/identity features) is commercial-licensed and may not be used without a licence from a vendor that is winding down.
ARCHIVED (read-only) on GitHub; last push 2026-08-13. Vendor announcement 'The Future of Flowise': code freeze 2026-07-29, repo archival (GitHub discussion says 2026-08-13, flowiseai.com/sunset says 2026-08-10), End of Life 2026-08-31; npm packages and Docker images marked deprecated; no more PRs, fixes or security patches from the core team. Vendor says the Apache-2.0 code remains and encourages forks. Website banner: "We're sunsetting Flowise." A Workday acquisition is NOT stated in any page text opened (only a logo filename contains 'workday') — not confirmed. Needs LLM API keys or local models to be useful.
