Duix-Avatar (HeyGem)

Offline toolkit that builds a talking avatar from one video of a person.

Avatar videos for training, sales outreach and social content without per-minute fees.

Custom licence: read it before commercial use. Last pushed April 2026. Needs a capable NVIDIA GPU.

DUIX.COM Community License Agreement (custom, non-OSI). Not open source despite the repo description 'Truly open-source'.

Conditional: allowed royalty-free, but you must display 'Built with DUIX.COM' and state it in your terms of service, and the LICENSE requires requesting a commercial licence (granted at DUIX's 'sole discretion') above 1 thousand Monthly Active Users — while the README says the threshold is 100,000 users or USD 10 million annual revenue; the LICENSE text governs. You also grant DUIX a perpetual licence to use your case studies/examples.

Not archived, but last push 2026-04-21 (about 5.5 months); README itself says the open-source version gets 'Slow updates, bug fixes depend on the community' and only a 'Usable' lip-sync effect versus the paid API. Windows 10 + Docker only; NVIDIA GPU required (recommended RTX 4070, 32 GB RAM; RTX 4070 has 12 GB VRAM — README does not state a VRAM figure); 100 GB+ free on C: and 30 GB+ on D:, ~70 GB download. Clones a real person's face and voice — no consent guidance found in README; get written consent. LICENSE vs README MAU threshold conflict (1,000 vs 100,000).
